Coal crusher - DUF1
The universal DUF1-P1, DUF1-P4, DUF1-P5 and DUF1-P7 crushers (hereafter referred to as crushers) are designed for crushing coal and rock with strength up to 130 MPa. They are deployed in drifts or tracks of the collecting drag-link conveyor.
The crushers may be used in environments involving hazards of methane and coal dust explosion up to the degree SNM2 according to § 232 of the Decree of the Czech Mining Office no. 22/1989 Coll., as amended. According to the Government Order No. GO 23/2003 (Directive of European Parliament and Council EU 94/9/EC) the equipment is ranked within the group I., category M2 and meets all requirements of GO 176/2008 (Directive of European Parliament and Council EU 2006/42/EC).
The crusher consists of several main parts bolted together. The inlet and outlet parts are flanged to the medium part where a crushing drum with a balancer is enclosed in bearing housings. Position of the crushing drum can be adjusted in the vertical direction thus setting the size of the resultant pieces of crushed material. The crushing drum is fitted with crushing edge-tools, which can be replaced once they are worn down. The driving electric motor is placed in the outgoing part of the crusher. The facility allows for a drive with a motor to be incorporated in the set either from the left or right side (looking at the crusher in the direction of the movement of the transported material) depending on the specific mine needs. The gear to the balancer of the crushing drum is designed as a system of V-belts. The guide way of the drag-link conveyor profile is reinforced along the entire crusher length. The rock is fed along the drag-link conveyor, in the line of which the crusher is positioned.
The co-action of the crusher, collecting drag-link conveyor and spray is automatically controlled. Once the track is overloaded or clogged, the operation of the crusher and, subsequently, of the drag-link conveyor is automatically blocked. The set of the automatic control system may be completed with a facility preventing persons present in the vicinity of the crusher from being dragged into the crushing machine.
