Non-explosive key controller NTO24V and NTO24V-2

Non-explosive key controller of type NTO24V and NTO24V-2, thereinafter as a controller, is used for control over directions of traversing and it is used as stop button in pendent or tracked locomotives in the environment with explosion hazard of methane or dust coal in collieries.

Non-explosive key controller of type NTO24V and NTO24V-2 may be operated in environments with the explosion risk of methane and dust coal according to EN 1127-2. The key controller is equipment of group I, category M2 according to Directive 94/9/EC and NV (Decree of the Government) 23/2003 Coll. It may not be operated if the dangerous concentration of methane exceeds 1,5%.

The body of inexplosive wardrobe is made as weldment from the tube of square profile from steel of class 11 (according to ČSN) and from the same quality tinplates. Stop button creates metal convex tool with cam, which controls and locks off-position of contact-maker. Tool by the help of cam will come to turn-off of the contact-maker and subsequently to stopping of locomotive after the compression of convex. Stop button is built in the cover of controller. Control the directions is realized by the help of two contact-makers, which are controlled by lever. The lever is kept in zero position by springs. By the declination of crow on one or other side will come to closure of one of the contact-makers. After the releasing the crow, the lever will again return into the zero position - locomotive will stop.
Non-explosive key controller NTO24V has only one switch and two cable grommets PNV-32.  Non-explosive key controller NTO24V-2 have two switches and one cable grommets PNV-32.
The wardrobe contains clamps (they are put together on DIN plinth from clamps ZDU 2,5) for inside connection and access point of the controller into the electric circuit of the machine. The clamps enable to affix conductors from the cross section 1,5 till 4 mm2. The wardrobe is on the top protected by varnish comaxit. Conductivity between the controller and locomotive’s body must be ensured.
