The hydraulic distributor of the NEV24V…type serves as a hydraulic element for the closing or redirecting of hydraulic liquid flow in hydraulic mining machine systems. The explosion proof control magnet of the distributor is powered by direct or alternating voltage from a mining machine’s electric circuit.
The hydraulic distributor of the NEV24V…type can be used in environments that are at risk of methane and coil-dust explosions. According to EC order No. 94/9 ATEX, the control magnet of the distributor is classified into group I and category M2 and must be turned off in case of explosive atmosphere origination.
The control magnet of the hydraulic distributor of the NEV24V…type is electric equipment, a magnet in a explosion proof firm cover. It comprises the magnet box, coil, end joint, connecting cable, sealing compound and magnet core. The coil and connecting cable are sealed by an approved sealing compound of the magnet core. This is how the explosion proof realization of the magnet is provided.
The control explosion proof magnet of the hydraulic distributor of the NEV24V…type is a magnet powered from the mining machine’s hydraulic system. The magnet serves (when under power) for the redirection of the hydraulic distributor’s slide plate and therefore for redirection or closure of hydraulic liquid flow. After clearance of the magnet’s supply voltage, the hydraulic distributor’s slide plate converts into its normal position by means of a spring. The control explosion proof magnet of the hydraulic distributor of the NEV24V…type is powered by 24 V direct or alternating voltage from a mining machine’s electric circuit. The maximum power of the magnet is 500 mA. The explosion proof magnet must be protected against overloading and against shortage by the circuit breaker that constitutes a part of the mining machine’s electric system.
Attention: If the hydraulic distributor is equipped with two magnets, the possibility of concomitant powering of both magnets by the supply circuit must be excluded.
