Mine support bender ODP 5

The bender is designed for bending or straightening of mine profile supports used to support drifts to the required radii of more than 1m. The bender is also designed to bend and straighten spatially deformed profiles.

The bender consists of two main parts a foundation part with a gear mechanism and a working part with a profile pulley. The gear mechanism is driven by an electric motor via a chain gear. The profile pulleys with adjustable axial spacing are driven by cog wheels of the gear mechanism. The idle pulley is adjustable, thus proving the option to bend or straighten the profiles to the required radii. The pulleys are set via motion screws.

The bender may be used in environments involving hazards of methane and coal dust explosion up to the degree SNM2 according to § 232 of the Decree of the Czech Mining Office no. 22/1989 Coll., as amended.. According to the Government Order No. GO 23/2003 (Directive of European Parliament and Council EU 94/9/EC) the equipment is ranked within the group I., category M2 and meets all requirements of GO 176/2008 (Directive of European Parliament and Council EU 2006/42/EC).
