Set of cabins for personal transport SK
The set of cabins for personal transport SK is designed for transport of workers along suspension lines with an I155 bearing profile, and/or other suitable types of lines in shafts with the minimum profile of 8m2 up to the maximum slant of ±30°. The set may only be used up to the maximum slant permissible in connection with the obstructing carriage and traction vehicle used.
The set may be used in environments involving hazards of methane and coal dust explosion. According to the Government Statute No. NV 23/2003 (Direction of European Parliament and Counsel of European Union EU 94/9/ES) is equipment ranked with group I., category M2 and meets all requirements NV 176/2008 (Direction of European Parliament and Counsel of European Union EU 2006/42/ES).
The set dragged by a diesel-powered monorail locomotive of an approved type, consists of the following parts:
- transport carriage
- cabin
- transport pallet
- coupling rod (ST 0.3, ST 1.25, ST 1.74)
- signalization system
The obstructing carriage of an approved type is not included in the delivery of the cabin set.
Transport carriage– is operated along the bottom flange of the suspension line’s bearing profile. The carriages are mutually interconnected by means of coupling rods with spigots and mounted nuts secured by a lock supplied as its part.
Cabin – is an all-welded structure consisting of upper and lower frames mutually interconnected by tubes. The cabin fronts are removable, thus allowing for a stretcher to be placed in the cabin once the linen seats are removed. The transported persons are prevented from falling from the cabin by means of chain obstructions.
Transport pallet - is a welded structure suspended on two transport carriages connected by a ST 0.3 coupling rod. It is designed for transport of fine material.
Coupling rod – is used for connecting transport carriages.

Signalling – allows for a signal to be dispatched from all seats of the set to the location of the conductor in the final cabin of the set. The signalization system is always supplied for five-cabin sets or as required by the customer.
