From October 16th to 17th, the Service, Sales, and Marketing teams of FERRIT set out for a truly unique experience – a visit to the Bochnia Salt Mine in Poland, one of the oldest salt mines in Europe.
After descending underground together, we completed a tourist route enriched with team challenges that tested both our cooperation and endurance – from wood cutting and hammering nails to pulling a cart full of salt. Two mixed teams competed enthusiastically, and soon everyone realized that teamwork and communication are the keys to success – just like in the daily operations at Ferrit.
After a shared dinner, we engaged in discussions about business strategy, management of service teams across the globe, and ways to further promote our machines on international markets.
The evening continued with a private night tour led by professionals, during which we ventured beyond the usual tourist paths – climbing six-meter ladders, passing through narrow corridors, and exploring places rarely seen by visitors. Throughout the teambuilding, we walked over 22,000 steps, climbed 33 floors, and most importantly, gained valuable insights, fresh energy, and a strengthened team spirit.
We fell asleep pleasantly exhausted, tucked under blankets, as the underground temperature remained around 13°C.
The next morning, we concluded the experience with a shared breakfast and reflection on everything we had accomplished.
It was a teambuilding event that literally – and symbolically – showed that when we go deep together, we can achieve much more.
Ferrit – the strength lies in people, teamwork, and shared experiences.
Thank you to the team at Kopalnia Soli Bochnia for the great organization.
