Between October 30 and November 2, 2025, the city of Kolkata, India, hosted the 11th edition of the prestigious mining exhibition IME 2025 (International Mining, Equipment, Minerals and Metals Exhibition).
The event was held with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic, which organized a joint Czech pavilion representing seven companies and one association. This year’s exhibition attracted more than 700 exhibitors from over 34 countries, featuring 10 national pavilions, including those from Australia and Germany. The strong interest in the event was demonstrated by the attendance of over 34,000 visitors, confirming IME 2025 as one of the most significant mining trade fairs in the region.
The Czech companies represented were: Enelex spol. s r.o., Ferrit s.r.o., Hansen Electric s.r.o., ŽDB Drátovna a.s., Řetězárna a.s., Zam-Servis s.r.o., and Inco Engineering s.r.o. The participating association was CDT – Czech Mining Technology Association.
Participation in IME 2025 enabled Czech companies to present their products and technologies to the promising Indian market, establish new business contacts, and deepen cooperation with local partners in the mining sector.
The successful participation of Czech exhibitors at IME 2025 demonstrates that the collaboration between the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Czech Mining Technology Association, and Czech exporters delivers tangible results. These activities make a significant contribution to supporting Czech exports, developing business relations with India, and strengthening the position of the Czech mining industry worldwide.
