Mobile substation

Mobile substations ensure transfer of the entire power supply system of a drivage or longwall workplace simultaneously with the advancement of that workplace. They are usually suspended on a monorail track and pulled by either additional hydraulic motors, or directly by a working machine (e.g. roadheader) connected to the system. 

This complex system significantly reduces idle times required for technological equipment transfers and increases productivity, while reducing the number of active personnel. Systems include frames for safe placement and fixing of various types of transformation, switching and control technology. Furthermore, the system includes components for the secure placement of high and low voltage cables.
