We wrapped up our business trip to Turkey with a visit to a major tunnel project, showcasing cutting-edge achievements in underground construction. One of the two 8 km tunnels is being excavated using advanced TBM (Tunnel Boring Machine) technology, while the other is built using the traditional drill-and-blast method – both reflecting Turkey’s high level of technical expertise in infrastructure.
The main purpose of the trip was a strategic meeting with our long-standing partner from South Africa, Mr. Matimba Mahange, owner of JA Engineering. This personal meeting marked another important step in strengthening our mutual cooperation.
A big thank-you goes to our sales representative Juraj Švorec, whose language skills and deep knowledge of the local environment have been instrumental in Ferrit’s long-term success in the region.
Istanbul, as a hub connecting Europe, Asia, and Africa, remains a key point in our international operations. During this visit, we also established a new important business contact – more details will be revealed soon.
